Colorado State Spring Game---Keep the Kids Away

Next time your kid wants to go to the bathroom during the game, we advise you to go with them as opposed to saying, "sure, do you know how to get there."

Let's point out the concentration the receiver shows while making this catch. Let's also hope the toddler doesn't get drafted as a CB for the NY Giants on Saturday.

Phil 'er Up!

For the first time since 1995 when Andy Pettitte made his Major League debut, a Yankees top prospect will take the mound for his first ML start on Thursday. Is this a sign of desperation from the Yankees whose starting pitchers do not feel the need to work for more than 90 minutes every 5 days? (can we apply for that job, please). Will Hughes make one start then return to the minors when Mussina comes off of the DL next week? Or will he force the Yankees to keep him in the rotation for the rest of the season.

Let's hope this kid throws like the last Phenom rookie pitcher in NYC, the good Doc Gooden himself and turns the Yankees early season pitching woes around.

What Will You Be Watching?

This weekend is a great one for sports fans. The weather is heating up as the rivals face each other for the first of what may seem like dozens of times this season. What will you be watching?

Yanks visit Beantown. Besides the fact that you are bound to become dumber the more time you spend in Boston, the Yankees must be there for three games this weekend. Can Andy Pettitte start the team off right, as he is followed by two rookies making their Fenway debuts? Can the 3B continue his hot streak? Will Matsusaka start off the season with a 1-3 record?

Mets face Braves. There must be a Mets fan that reads this blog right? My wife maybe? Please. Can the Braves staff shut down the hot Mets bats?

Cardinals visit Wrigley. See, there's no East Coast bias here. We are looking forward to seeing highlights of Sweet Lou hollering at anyone he can. We also want to see Felix Pie play more. Please don't send this kid back to the minors.

White Sox visit Tigers. If you are waiting for the first bench clearing brawl of the season, I think that this is the series that will provide it to you. Just a hunch..

NBA Playoffs Begin. Can the Heat continue the dominance the state of Florida has in sports and Repeat as Champions? Kobe vs. Phoenix. Will there be a sleeper team to watch for (Nets)?

NHL Playoffs. Haha, just kidding.

We ask what we asked before: What will you be watching?

A-Rod, With an A- Bomb. Again. Jesus.

10 HR's
26 Ribbies
14 Games

But if he doesn't do it in Beantown this weekend, does anyone care? We will know by Monday.

Boston Sucks.

With the 25th Pick of the 2007 Draft, the NY Jets Select....

There are a few things that you can expect every year. Christmas, Tax Day, and the Jets making an awful first round pick.

Dan Marino did blow in college. The Jets drafted Ken O'Brien.

Warren Sapp smoked weed. Kyle Brady, welcome to the Jets.

Blair Thomas ate his Wheaties. Er.....

You get the point.

Have no fear Jets fans, Terry Bradway is no longer here! (nor are most of the players he drafted. Jets fans have reason to believe under the leadership of GM Mike Tannenbaum and their HC, Manginius should change the Jets luck.

What do you think?

Are Those French Cuffs?

Looks like someone was running hot at the Poker Table last night. Fredo, as he is known to some had a nice run of cards last night at the club. No truth to the rumor that 50% of the profits are going to a house warming gift for his brother and sister-in law.

There's a smile on that face for good reason. Well done.

Bernie Williams Plays After All

While his ex-teammates are all gravitating towards the DL, Bernie Williams spends his time playing guitar at the Beacon Theater with the Allman Brothers Band on April 7th.

The man can do it all.

Weekend In Review

RIP Johnny Sack. The Shit is about to hit the fan. Who is next to go? Phil? Christopher? All I know is Phil is about to go on a killing spree.....Leave thoughts on last nights episode in comments section.

Carl Pavano, Rich Harden, and Kerry Wood have arm issues. Pavano and Wood are already on the DL, and Harden will join him soon I imagine. Did Pitchers get hurt this much when they ever used Steroids?

Knicks eliminated from playoffs. Let's be reminded that the Knicks held the 8th (and final) playoff spot for exactly one day this season. Isiah was given an extension from James Dolan the following day.

Mariano Rivera gives up walk off HR to Roberto Baggio (might as well have been). It's Rivera's first HR allowed since August 27 2006. No word on whether Mo will be moved to the rotation.

Jackie Robinson Honored Across America. Mother Nature may be a little bit racist as 6 baseball games are rained out on the 60th Anniversary of Jackie Robinson playing for the Dodgers. Miss nature also must have bet against my fantasy baseball team this week.

Carl Pavano=Stability?

I will sit and stare at this headline for a few minutes as I cannot seem to comprehend this.

Imus, any thoughts?

Down Goes Tony!

In a Unanimous Decision, last night Bobby Bacala defeated Anthony Soprano by TKO in the 5th Round. Trainer Carmela Soprano could not be reached for comment as she was nursing her husband's pride, er, I mean wounds.

The fight received good ratings but were not as high as the 2004 fight featuring Janice Soprano Bacala versus Richie April. April has yet to recover.

Andy's Return to the Bronx

Andy Pettitte's return to the Bronx was shut down by Mother Nature. She must have been thinking of us as now we can watch the game from the couch tomorrow night, as opposed to listening to those 2 radio "announcers" the Yankees seem forced to stick with.

Anyone know when KC Connors gets the call to the bigs?

The Best Day of The Year

Today is the best day of the year. The Yankees and Royals are tied with each other. The Nationals have hope. The Mets are a game in front of the Braves. Everyone starts off with hope, and some will make this hope last for the next 6 months. Some will be pining for next year by May 31. Sorry Cubs fans.

There are two problems. Work, and Passover. In no particular order.

If my ears can make it through the day without bleeding from the nonsense spewed by John Sterling and Suzyn Waldman I will consider it a good day. And Carl Pavano walking to and from the field without assistance.

Play Ball!!!
