That was pretty anticlimactic, wouldn't you say? Besides the fact that the Yankees could have pushed the start of the game back to 4:05 and been fine, the rest of the league had to deal with this crap weather too. I did watch Santana pitch versus the Marlins. This just in. He is still good. The Indians are going to win a lot of games this season. The White Sox are going to lose a lot of games this year.
Did anyone watch the Padres play the Astros last night? ESPN seems to be hiring any ex baseball player and throwing them into the booth. Candy Maldonado was there last night. I can't mention his name without picturing him in the OF at Candlestick Park holding his hand above his eyes while fighting the sun, as the ball drops 20 feet from him. If he could speak English the broadcast may have been much better.
How is this the second day of baseball season and there are ZERO day games? How is that possible?
